Glide Bikes

Glide Bikes

The Glide Bike is a two-wheeled bicycle without pedals.  Children propel forward using their feet to push off the ground and coast, gaining practice in balance and coordination needed to ride a traditional two-wheeled bicycle.  The frame is lightweight metal alloy, has a low center of gravity and optional feet rests.  It has BMX-style handlebars for ergonomic seating position.  The handlebars and seat are adjustable.  It has one hand brake.  The tires are foam and do not require pumping and therefore are never at risk for flats.

Buddy Bike

The Buddy Bike is a unique tandem bicycle where the child sits in front of the adult.  The child’s seat is lower so the adult can easily see over his head.  The pedals are synced and both riders have brakes.  The Buddy Bike has a shorter wheelbase than traditional tandem bikes: 57.125” Buddy Bike Family, 58.125” for Buddy Bike Sport – whereas traditional tandems are 69.7”-72.2”.  Combined weight limit 380lbs.

Strider Bikes

This no-pedal balance bike teaches children balance and coordination while building confidence to progress to riding a traditional bicycle. Children push with their feet to move forward and gradually learn to lift their legs and coast. Both the handlebars and seat are height adjustable. The smaller option, the STRIDER 12 Sport, is designed for ages 18 months - 5 years and has EVA polymer tires that never need air.
