Adapted from the classic flying turtle, the Exer-Rider® was designed by a pediatric physical therapist for those with special needs. Moving handles back and forth propels the rider. This inviting Exer-Rider® works well with children who have upper body strength and mobility but who also have lower extremity weakness and/or paralysis such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida and muscular dystrophy. The Exer-Rider® brings the benefits of physical activity to children with physical disabilities.

Laser Pegs® with 3D Light Board

Laser Pegs with 3D Light Board is a large light-up construction kit. Each piece is made of clear ABS plastic that snap together securely. Within each set, there are approximately 35 pieces that have small resistors and LED lights. When connected to the base and subsequent pieces, they light up. The kit includes instructions for many structures or can be used for open-ended building. The building base doubles as a storage unit. 3D Light Board requires three AA batteries, sold separately.

The Interactive Animal Cubes include five cubes with real life photos from the Smithsonian. Each cube is a different category related to farm animals, sea animals, pets, wild animals and insects in bright colors of orange, red, blue, yellow and green. Children have the opportunity to learn about 30 different animals and hear their sounds. The Interactive Animal Cubes can be switched from exploratory play to game mode which will “quiz” the child on the different cubes animals and sounds.
